Lavada B. Fraley age 15 and Thelma Fraley age 12 were the daughters of Joseph E. (Joe) Fraley and his first wife Corina Davis. It seems likely that Roty age 37 was related either to Joe or Corina. Either Corina died between 1900 and 1910, or Joe and Corina were divorced between 1900 and 1910. Joe was enumerated in the 1910 census in Knox County, Tennessee. Joe married Mollie Caroline Cole on 14 Mar 1926 in Knox County, Tennessee. Mollie's first husband was Robert Asbury Peters. Aunt Mollie was the daughter of my second great grandparents William (Will) Cole and Vesta Clay (Vestie) England. As such, Aunt Mollie was the sister of my great grandmother Sallie Jane Cole. Sallie married my great grandfather Alva Edward Peters, brother of Robert Asbury Peters. So Sallie's children and Mollie's children were double first cousins. |
