George Steward (Steward) Bryan age 69 was the son of my third great grandparents Peter H. Bryan and Mary Ann (Polly Ann or Pollyanna) Cate. As such, Steward was my second great granduncle. His name was Steward. But it was often misspelled as Stewart as it was here, or even sometimes as Stuart. Steward married Martha Ella (Ella) Elmore age 69 on 11 June 1906 in Knox County, Tennessee. Ella was the daughter of Thomas A. Elmore and Emily A. Renfroe. Ella was his second wife, his first wife Mattie M. Rymer having died 26 Nov 1902 in Greeley, Weld County, Colorado. |
Steward and Ella's daughter Jenny Lind Bryan age 26 married John D. Lankford age 23, date and place unknown. John was the son of Almuth B. Lankford and Myrtle Acuff. |
