Edward England was the son of Joseph England and Malinda Lankford, and the grandson of my fifth great grandparents John England and Vesta Zipporah Choate. As such, Edward was the nephew of my fourth great grandfather Titus England who married Elizabeth and also the nephew of my fourth great grandmother Sarah (Sallie) England who married Thomas Peters. Edward was born in Morgan County, Tennessee. Mary E. Randolph age 36 and her brother Walter age 14 were the children of William Randolph and Katherine Fisher. Mary E. Randolph was Edward England's second wife. It's also the case that Mary E. Randolph's brother John married Edward England's daughter Matilda Mae England. So a brother and sister married a daughter and father. |
