John Thomas Slaton of Jefferson County, Tennessee was the son of Francis Marion (Frank) Slaton and Mary Anne Moore. As such, he was the nephew of my second great grandmother Susan A. Slaton. John Thomas Slaton was b. 7 Feb 1876 and d. 27 Jul 1945. Mary Roberta Strain was the daughter of Robert Strain and Linnie Brunner. Linnie Frances Slaton was named for her grandmother Linnie Brunner. Robert Marion (Marion) Slaton was named for his grandfathers Francis Marion (Frank) Slaton and Robert Brunner. William Porter (Porter) Slaton was named for his uncle Joseph Porter (Port) Slaton. |
