Eliza Lydia Bryan age 69 was the daughter of my third great grandparents Peter H. Bryan and Mary Ann (Polly Ann) Cate. As such, Eliza was the sister of my second great grandfather William Allen Bryan. I know very little about Eliza except that she married Fred Hopkins. This census entry suggests that Eliza and Fred were living in Colorado by at least 1897. |

I believe that Andrew Charles Kemler age 42 married second Esther G. Hopkins. Esther was the daughter of William A. (Fred) Hopkins and Eliza Lydia Bryan. Eliza was the daughter of my third great grandparents Peter Hubbard Bryan and Mary Ann (Polly Ann) Cate. As such, Eliza was the sister of my second great grandfather William Allen (Will) Bryan. Andrew married first Lillian J. Morel. This census entry suggests that they were married about 1920. Andrew was enumerated in the 1920 census as married, but he was living alone as a boarder and Lillian cannot be found in the 1920 census. Lillian died in 1946. Unless Andrew and Lillian were divorced, that means that Andrew married Esther G. Hopkins sometime after 1946. |
