Marion Clyde (Clyde) Letsinger age 21 was the son of Samuel Mabry (Sam) Letsinger and Elza Cordelia (Elzie) Peters and the grandson of my great grandparents Alva Edward(Alvy) Peters and Sallie Jane Cole. As such, Aunt Elzie was the sister of my grandfather Ernest Lester (Lester) Peters Sr. and Clyde Letsinger was my mother's first cousin.

It appears that Clyde was one of four young men who were living together in 1950 as roommates in some sort of boarding house or other similar residence. The census enumerator listed one of them as head of household and the other three as partners, but I suspect that the modern usage would be to describe all four of them as roommates. It is known that Clyde lived in Washington, D.C. while he served in the U.S. Army. I do not know the exact dates of his Army service to know how the dates of that service might fit in with his enumeration in the 1950 census as working at the U.S. Federal Bureau of Debt.
