Sarah Bryan was the daughter of my fifth great grandparents Peter Bryan and Betty Hubbard. As such, Sarah was the sister of my fourth great grandparents Thomas C. Bryan Sr. Sarah Bryan married Giles Sanford Boggess on 29 Apr 1818 in Sevier County, Tennessee. Giles Sanford Boggess was the son of Bennett Boggess and Vashti Hubbard. It is suspected that Betty Hubbard and Vashti Hubbard were related, but there is no hard evidence one way or another. There are many members of the household who cannot be identified. The children were all probably children of Giles Sanford Boggess and Sarah Bryan, but if so then I don't know any of their names. I have the names for their children who were born after 1830, but not for the children who were born before 1830. The identity of the adults is other than Giles Sanford Boggess and Sarah Bryan is completely unknown. |
