I believe that this family was related to me through the Cross family.  My fourth great grandfather was William Cross the Revolutionary War drummer boy.  Most likely, William was the son of William (Brittain) Cross and Alice Cole, and the grandson of John Cross and Dinah Lane.  I believe that Lamode Watkins age 27 was descended from the same John Cross and Dinah Lane through their son Solomon Cross Sr.  If this analysis is correct, then Lamode was my seventh cousin.

Lamode married William Forrest Durham age 40 in Jun 1932 in College Park.  William was the son of William F. Durham and Nancy (Nannie) Colston.
