Clarence Messamore was the son of George Henry (Henry) Messamore and Ida M. Alltum.  Clarence was the great grandson of James Messamore and Sarah (Sary) Heath of Anderson County, Tennessee.  James was the brother of my third great grandmother Anna F. Messamore.

Dorothy Pellham is a puzzle.  It appears that this was the first marriage for both Clarence Messamore and his wife Irene.  Clarence was only 16 and Irene was only 15 when Dorothy was born.  Dorothy appears to have been adopted by at least one of Clarence and Irene, and perhaps by both.
