Karen Elizabeth Almond age 12 is my son-in-law's grandmother, known to him as Grandma Carter. As such, she is my grandchildren's great grandmother. Karen Almond was the daughter of Moroni Richard Almond age 48 and Ada Boletta Christensen age 42. Karen Elizabeth Almond was b. 9 Dec 1917 in Downey, Bannock County, Idaho. She married George Conrad Carter. The family appears to have an interesting immigration story, with roots in England and Denmark. |
