Bertha Cordelia Goff age 31 was the daughter of Walter Charles Goff and Nancy Matilda May (Tilda) Pierce. Tilda Pierce was the daughter of Allen Newton (Newt) Pierce and Sarah Ann Brown. Newt Pierce was the son of my third great grandfather James E. Pierce and his third wife Experience (Spriddy) Wells of Greene County, Tennessee. I am descended from James and his first wife Anny Green. Bertha's husband was Robert John Mitchell age 32. |
