Chasing down this family is a bit of a wild goose chase. (Of course, that's what wild geese are for.) They were from Union County, Tennessee. Union County was created from Anderson County and other counties in 1850. There were Peters in Union County, but they appear not to have been related to my Peters family of Anderson County. |
