Elkanah D. Cross age 36 is a candidate to have been the son of my fourth great grandfather William Cross the Revolutionary War drummer boy of Anderson County, Tennessee.  In an 1888 Anderson County lawsuit, an Elkanah Cross received a full 1/9 share of the proceeds of the sale of land that originally had been William Cross's.  This may be that Elkanah Cross.
