Lester L. Messamore was the son of George Henry (Henry) Messamore and Ida May Altum. Lester was the great grandson of James Messamore and Sarah (Sary) Heath of Anderson County, Tennessee. James stayed in Tennessee while his brother John moved to Illinois. Nevertheless, some descendants of James eventually moved to Illinois as well. James and John were brothers of my third great grandmother Anna F. Messamore. |
