James Charles Messamore was the son of John Messamore and ELizabeth (Betsy) Minton.  John was the brother of my third great grandmother Anna F. Messamore.

James' wife was Luvinia Hagler.  Luvinia had died prior to the 1920 census.

John Messamore moved from Tennessee to Illinois about 1852, and most of the Messamores in Illinois seem to have been descended from him.

Ethel's husband was Dennis Sidney Bevil.

Elizabeth Alice (Alice) Tweedy was the daughter of James M. Tweedy and Charlotte Bizzel Craig.
