Fredrick Raymond Davidson age 32 was the son of James Clark (Jim) Davidson and Sarah Catherine Owens, the grandson of James (Jim) Davidson and Hannah D. Peters, the great grandson of James Peters and Rachel McCart and the second great grandson of Tobias Peters and Elizabeth Rachel Scarborough. Tobias was probably the brother of my fifth great grandfather Henry Peters Sr., but this has not been proven for certain because we do not know who the parents were for either Tobias or Henry. However, we do know that Henry's descendants and Tobias's descendants have DNA that is a close enough match for them to have been brothers. |
Fred married Eleanor Cleda (Cleda) Ickes age 22 on 7 Sep 1937 in Hammond. Another child Sharon Kay Davidson was born in 1940, but she was born shortly after the census enumeration and therefore was not enumerated. |
