Minnie M. Cross age 45 was the daughter of Jacob Benton Cross and Peona (Peony) Langley. Jacob Benton Cross was the son of Franklin W. (Frank) Cross and Virginia Florence Laymance. As such, Jacob was the great grandson of my fourth great grandfather William Cross the Revolutionary War Drummer boy. Jacob's line was William -> Elijah -> Franklin W. (Frank) -> Jacob. It was the fourth marriage for Andrew Jackson (Jack) Mobley and the third marriage for Minnie M. Cross. Earnest Mobley age 10 was the son of Jack Mobley and his third wife Lillie M. Kincaid. |

Albert Henry Cross and Kathryn May Stogdill were married in 1927. So Kathryn's age at first marriage was correctly listed as 17. However, Albert was married about 1919 to a woman named Ruth. So his age at first marriage should have been listed as about 25 rather than as 32. |
