Jane Byrd (Jennie) Page age 18 married Thomas Barbour Bryan on 27 Nov 1850, about three months after this census entry. I cannot find Thomas in the 1850 census. He was born in Virginia. I don't know if he might have been in transit from Virginia at the time of the census. Thomas Barbour Bryan was the son of Daniel Bryan and Mary Barbour, the grandson of Major William Bryan and Nancy Kelly, and the great grandson of my sixth great grandparents Thomas Bryan Sr. and Elizabeth. As such, Thomas Barbour Bryan was the second cousin of my third great grandfather Peter Hubbard Bryan. Jane Byrd (Jennie) Page was the daughter of Rev. Charles Henry Page age 50 and Gabriella Crawford age 43. |
