Faye Louise (Louise) Coy age 15 later married Charles Milton (Mitt) Bryan.  Uncle Mitt was the son my second great grandparents William Allen (Will) Bryan and Malissa E. Underwood.  As such, Uncle Mitt was the brother of my great grandfather William Harley (Harley) Bryan.

Faye was the daughter of an unknown Mr. Coy and Edna Mae Bowman.  Mr. Coy apparently died between 1906 and 1910.  The family moved from Ohio to Tennessee about 1906.  I don't know for sure where they lived in Ohio, but Edna Bowman was born in Cincinnati.  Edna was the daughter of Robert Burns Bowman and Ella Jane Simmonds.

Between 1910 and 1920, Edna apparently married and divorced a Mr. Dupes, with whom she apparently had a daughter Lillian.  The name "Lillian" is interesting, because Edna had a daughter named Lillie born about 1906.  It appears that Lillie died between 1910 and 1916, and that Edna named her daughter with Mr. Dupes in memory of her daughter who had died.  There is a good bit of guesswork in this theory about Lillian's name, but I think it's probably pretty close to the truth.
