Parks B. Messamore was the son of William Messamore and Ann Hancock. It appears that Parks was newly married to his wife Mary Hale, that his father William had died, and that his mother Ann was living in the household with him. The fundamental question with this family is whether or not Parks Messamore's father William was related to my fourth great grandfather William/Wilhelm Messamore, possibly a son or a nephew. It seems likely, but it also seems very difficult to prove one way or the other. |
