Harold Atwood Neff age 14 married Gladys Erymtrude Cox in 1943. Gladys was the daughter of Roy Lee Cox and Obie Lillian (Lillian) Howell, the granddaughter of William Nelson Cox and Mary Ella (Ella) Cline, and the great granddaughter of my seocnd great grandparents John Tivis Cox and Nancy Ann Pierce. As such, William was the brother of my great grandfather George Jackson Cox, Roy was the first cousin of my grandmother Ruby Priscilla Cox, and Gladys was the second cousin of my father. Harold was the son of Albert Neff age 32 and Rose Ann (Reba) Wylie age 31. |
