Eliza Jane (Clementine) Bryan was the granddaughter of Benjamin Allen Bryan and Sarah Ann Keener according to the 1880 census. Clementine's mother is believed to have been Amanda C. Bryan, daughter of Benjamin Allen Bryan and Sarah Ann Keener, with Clementine's father unknown. Eliza's husband was Heman William (Bill) Judd Jr. This census entry inverts his first and middle names. His given name "Heman" was often misspelled as "Herman". George E. Bryan was the grandson of Benjamin Allen Bryan and Sarah Ann Keener. George is believed to have been the son of Amanda C. Bryan and an unknown father. Therefore, he is believed to have been the brother of Eliza Jane (Clementine) Bryan. I don't know why he was listed as a boarder instead of as a brother. Benjamin Allen Bryan was the son of Ahaz Bryan who was the nephew of my fifth great grandfather Peter Bryan. |
