H. May Meek age 53 was the widow of Joe David Adams, and also probably the widow of James William (William or Will) Adams. I believe that Joe David Adams died between 1910 and 1920. Will Adams died in 1928. Joe David Adams and James William (William or Will) Adams were the sons of James Jasper Adams and Paralee Phoebe (Phoebe) Bryan. Phoebe was the daughter of Peter Grantham Bryan and Maria Wright. Peter Grantham Bryan was the son of Allen Ludwell Bryan and Phoebe Boggess. As such, Peter Grantham Bryan was the nephew of my fourth great grandfather Thomas C. Bryan Sr. and the first cousin of my third great grandfather Peter H. Bryan. There is no known connection between the Adams family, the Kelly family, and the Bowen family. Paul's wife was Corrine Holland. It appears that May, Paul, and Corrine were probably boarders in the home of Brantley C. Kelly. |

Clara's husband was Emory Alex Morgan Sr. Joe David Adams was the son of James Jasper Adams and Paralee Phoebe (Phoebe) Bryan. Phoebe was the daughter of Peter Grantham Bryan and Maria Wright.
