Margaret Slaton was the daughter of Wilcher C. (Billy or Buck)
Slaton and Elizabeth (Betsy) Linville. Margaret married David
Draughn 6 Jun 1880.
On the microfilm, the "Self" and the "Other" as transcribed by
the LDS were really just left blank. The two people were both
listed as "married", and the microfilm also says that both people
were married in the last year. So I think the pair were husband
and wife, even though the census fails to explicitly identify
Margrett as "wife". The census taker may have failed to identify
Margrett as "wife" because the official census date was 1 Jun 1880,
and strictly speaking on 1 Jun she was not a wife.
