Wilcher C. Slaton was the son of William Slaydon and Susannah Flippin. Elizabeth (Betty) Linville was the daughter of Moses Linville and Henrietta White.

Berry Linville was the son of Moses Linville and Henrietta White. I believe Jane Slaydon was Martha Jane Slaydon, daughter of William Slaydon and Susannah Flippin. This is based on the guess that Jane and Wilcher were sister and brother.

Moses Linville and Henrietta White were the father-in-law and mother-in-law of Martha Jane Slaydon and of Wilcher C. Slaton.

I believe Sarah (Sally) Sladon was the daughter of William Slaydon and Susannah Flippin. This is based on the guess that Sally and Joseph were sister and brother.

I believe Nancy Slayton was the daughter of William Slaydon and Susannah Flippin. This is based on the guess that Nancy and Joseph were sister and brother.

This marriage is of interest because of the following census entry.
