Pearl Cummings age 21 married Wyatt McKinley (Mac) Nichols on 15 Mar 1922 in Cuyahoga County.  Mac Nichols was the son of Robert Russell Wyatt Nichols and Sarah Louisa Ida (Ida) McAndrew, and the grandson of my second great grandparents John H. B. Nichols and Martha P. Reneau.  As such, Robert was the brother of my great grandmother Clarissa Loretta (Retta or Rett) Nichols, and Mac was the first cousin of my grandmother Ruby Priscilla Cox.

Pearl was the daughter of William Cummings and Mary A. Mansfield.  William and Mary were divorced at the time of the 1920 census, and Pearl and her sister Louise age 19 were living in a boarding house.  Pearl and Louise were both fudging their ages a bit.  Pearl was really 20, and Louise was really 17.  Also, the enumerator listed Pearl and Louise's mother as having been born in Ohio, but their mother was born in England.
