I believe that W. B. Peters may have been William Burton (Burton) Peters, but it is difficult to know for sure.  The data in this census entry is a good fit, but not a perfect fit, for William Burton (Burton) Peters.  It's the only close fit I can find for Burton Peters in 1930, and there seems to be no Peters in either the 1910 or 1920 census who is a fit with this W. B. Peters.

Burton Peters was born in 1890 in Fentress County, Tennessee and was married in 1908 in Fentress County, Tennessee.  He was enumerated in the 1910 census in Fentress County with his wife Bertha Mary (Bertie) Ramsey, and the couple was enumerated in the 1920 census in Morgan County, Tennessee.  In the 1930 census, their children were living with Bertie's parents in Morgan County.  I cannot find Bertie at all in the 1930 census, and this census entry is the closest match I can find to Burton.

Just from looking at the Tennessee census, it appears that Burton and Bertie may both have died between 1920 and 1930, with the children being raised thereafter by Bertie's parents.  However, this census entry suggests that Burton may have still been living.

It is curious that this census entry says that W. B. Peters was divorced rather than being widowed.  If Bertie died and if this was William Burton (Burton) Peters, then W. B. Peters should have been listed as widowed.  Perhaps that's an indication that this really wasn't William Burton (Burton) Peters.

Burton Peters was the son of John Wesley Peters and the grandson of Henry Clark (Clark) Peters.

Henry Clark (Clark) Peters was one of mine, but there is a bit of uncertainty about his exact ancestry.  Clark Peters was the son either of Henry Peters Jr. or of Thomas PetersHenry Jr. and Thomas were brothers, and both of them were my fourth great grandfathers.
