Alma Addie Mowery age 29 was the daughter of Robert Henry Mowery and Sally Ann Gaut.  Sally was the daughter of John J. Gaut and Margaret Angeline (Angeline) Bryan.  Angeline was the daughter of my fourth great grandparents Thomas C. Bryan Sr. and Nancy Cate.  As such, Angeline was the sister of my third great grandfather Peter H. Bryan.

Alma married first Sam Houston (Houston) Arnold in 1898.  Houston Arnold died three months before their son Sam Houston Arnold Sr. was born in 1899.  Alma married second James Willis Kerley age 28.

Alma's three children at the time of the 1910 census were the aforementioned Sam Houston Arnold Sr. age 10, Edith Kerley age 4, and Arthur Kerley age 4.  Sam Houston Arnold Sr. was enumerated incorrectly as Houston A. Kerley rather than as Sam Houston Arnold.  May Kerley age 9 was James Willis Kerley's daughter from his first marriage.  I do not have the name of his first wife.
