John Pinckney Catlett age 51 was from Sevier County, Tennessee. He moved to South Carolina shortly after 1850. He was the son of Samuel Catlett and Hannah, and the grandson of my fifth great grandfather Reuben Catlett. John's wife was Lucy Tucker age 45. John Pinckney Catlett was born 17 Feb 1828 in Sevierville, Sevier County, Tennessee, and died 28 Feb 1902 in Anderson County, South Carolina. Lucy Tucker was born 8 Dec 1834 and died 19 Apr 1927 in Anderson County, South Carolina. Stone in Old Silverbrook Cemetery: John Catlett of Sevierville, Tennessee, married to Lucy Tucker, Anderson, SC, Dec 23, 1853, a soldier in the Mexican War of 1846 and 1847. |
