Minerva Adeline Jane (Adeline) Bray was the daughter of my third great grandfather Edward Payne Bray and his second wife Martha Patsy Sweet. As such, Adeline was the half sister of my second great grandfather Joseph A. (Joe) Bray.

Adeline's first husband was Milton T. Altum. The couple had one child, Elizabeth M. (Lizzie) Aultman. Adeline later married Robert F. (Bob) Teasley.

Joseph H. Bray who married Mira Seiber was the son of John Jacob (Jake) Bray and Winnie West, and the grandson of Joseph H. Bray and Sarah L. Duncan. The elder Joseph H. Bray (the grandfather) was the brother of my third great grandfather Edward Payne Bray.

Joseph H. Bray and Mira Seiber were married on 9 Nov 1898 in Anderson County. They were both enumerated in the 1900 census, but not as a couple. Joseph was living with his parents in 1900, and Mira was living in the home of Adam Bunch. The Bunch home was three houses away from the home of Joseph H. Bray's parents. I do not know what relationship there might have been between Mira Seiber and the Bunch family.

John E. Cross was the son of Jesse C. Cross and Amelia (Milly) England. So John E. Cross was the grandson of my fourth great grandparents William Cross the Revolutionary War drummer boy, and also the grandson of my fourth great grandparents John England and Vesta Zipporah Choate.

Nancy A. Letsinger was the daughter of Daniel (Dan) Letsinger and Mary W. Shinpaugh, who were the common ancestors of all the Letsingers in Anderson County.
