Keith Taxes in Anderson County, Tennessee

My interest in the Keith family is that Calvin Keith's second wife was Anna J. (Annie) Cross.  Annie was the daughter my third great grandparents Alfred Carter Cross and Zipporah Peters.  As such, Annie was the sister of my second great grandmother Hulda Asberine (Asberine) Cross.

Annie Cross died about 1879.  Subsequently, two of Annie's children were raised by Asberine Cross and her husband John H. Peters.

The Calvin Keith of interest was born about 1844 and was the son of Andrew (Andy) Keith.   The Calvin Keith from Dist. 8 in 1837 was from an earlier generation of the Keith family in Anderson County.
