Archelius E. (Archie) Bray was the son of Joshua J. Bray and Anne M. (Annie) Hall. As such, Archie was the nephew of my third great grandfather Edward Payne Bray. Louisa E. Wallace was the daughter of John Wallace III and Abby Burns Reynolds. Archie and Louisa were married 27 Sep 1874 in Anderson County, Tennessee. The family was from Anderson County. They moved to Union County prior to the 1880 census, and to Campbell County prior to the 1900 census. Margaret Eva Bray was the daughter of James Bray and Margaret Elizabeth (Lizzie) Wallace. I'm not sure why Margaret was not living with her parents in 1900. I do know that James died in 1904. |
