Lucille (Lou) McDaniel age 9 married George Samuel Bray on 17 Apr 1896 in Loudon County. George was the son of my second great grandparents Joseph A. (Joe) Bray and Ferriba Salina (Salina) Moore. As such, George was the brother of my great grandmother Mary Mahala Jane (Mahala or Haley) Bray. Lou was the daughter of Alfred McDaniel age 43 and Elizabeth Loudy age 30. Most records list Lou's birthdate as 15 Feb 1875, but if this census entry is correct she must have been born about 1871. |
