Aaron Cox Sr. age 70 was from Stokes County, North Carolina.
I am seeking a connection between Aaron Cox Sr. and my Reuben Cox
of Wilkes County, North Carolina. The evidence is very weak,
but there is a possibility that Aaron Cox Sr. and Reuben Cox were
brothers. Even if they were, I do not know who their
father might have been.
Cynthia Cox was the daughter of Aaron Cox Sr. and Mary (Polly) Hill. Mary (Polly) Hill apparently died prior to the 1850 census. Aaron Cox was in Claiborne County, Tennessee by at least 1825. Almarian Mitchel and Cynthia Cox were married in Claiborne County, Tennessee about 1824.
