I do not know who this William Bryan was, nor whether he was connected to my Bryan line. He probably was not. The 1850 census says that he was born in North Carolina. The death certificate of his son William Lafayette Bryan (age 6 in this census) says that the elder William's wife was Mary Myers. So her name must have been Mary Lucinda Myers or Lucinda Mary Myers. |
