Viola Cameron age 15 married George Thomas Harrison on 18 Jan 1936 in Hamblen County. George was the son of Daniel (Dan) Harrison and Mary Emily Ethel (Ethel) Cox. Uncle Dan was the son of my second great grandparents Joseph Harrison and Susan A. Slaton. As such, Uncle Dan was the brother of my great grandmother Nancy Virginia (Nannie) Harrison. Aunt Ethel was the daughter of my great grandparents George Jackson Cox and Clarissa Loretta (Retta or Rett) Nichols. As such, Aunt Ethel was the sister of my grandmother Ruby Priscilla Cox. Viola was the daughter of Porter Cameron age 43 and Lillie Whitlock age 31. Porter and Lillie were married on 10 May 1914 in Cocke County. |
