John C. Harrison was the son of Josiah Harrison and Sarah Woolsey.  Josiah was the nephew of my fifth great grandmother Lydia Donnell Harrison.

John's wife was Penelope Ruth (Nep) Bowman.  I do not know who Nep Bowman's parents were, except that obviously Polly age 56 was her mother.

This census entry is part of the research on my great grandmother Mary Mahala Jane (Mahala or Haley) BrayHaley married first William George Washington Green on 7 Apr 1889 in Loudon County, and she married second my great grandfather John William Williamson on 25 Dec 1898 in Loudon County.  Haley was divorced from William George Washington Green on 9 Jan 1896 in Loudon County.  I have wondered what ever happened to William George Washington Green.

G. W. Green married Dora Miller on 25 Apr 1909 in Loudon County.  So I wondered if the G. W. Green who married Dora Miller might have been Haley's first husband.  Even though George W. Greene age 28 and Dora age 23 were living in Greene County in 1910, I believe they were the same couple who were married in 1909 in Loudon County.  And this 1910 census entry does say that George W. Greene had been married twice.  However, Haley's first husband was born about 1868 in North Carolina.  The George W. Greene from this census entry was much too young to have been Haley's first husband.
