Daniel (Dan) Harrison age 58 was the son of my second great grandparents Joseph Harrison and Susan A. Slaton.; As such, Uncle Dan was the brother of my great grandmother Nancy Virginia (Nannie) Harrison. Mary Emily Ethel (Ethel) Cox age 46 was the daughter of my great grandparents George Jackson Cox and Clarissa Loretta (Rett) Nichols. As such, Aunt Ethel was the sister of my grandmother Ruby Priscilla Cox. |
Clarissa Loretta (Rett) Nichols age 68 was my great grandmother. She married my great grandfather George Jackson Cox on 9 Dec 1883. George died 12 Jun 1938. Even through the census says that Rett was living in the same house in 1935, that seems unlikely. Rather, it seems likely that she was still living in her home in Jefferson County in 1935 and that she moved in with her daughter Ethel after George died. |
