My Harrison family moved from Rockingham County, Virginia to East Tennessee in the 1850's. My second great grandfather Joseph Harrison was enumerated in Rockingham County, Virginia in 1850. He was enumerated in Greene County, Tennessee in 1860. He was enumerated in Jefferson County, Tennessee in 1870. He married Susan A. Slaton in 1872 in Jefferson County.
