Cole Taxes in Knox County, Tennessee

My primary research interests in Knox County in this time period were in Dist. 10 (Concord) and Dist. 19 (Beaver Ridge).  Unfortunately, many of the records I most need are not extant.  The following is a list records in the 1860-1870 timeframe that are extant.

1871 19 Wm. Cole heirs 30/ $300/ $3.60   probably "William Cole deceased" who had owned the land was the second husband of Martha M. Key and the heir was probably my second great grandfather William Cole.  The two William Coles were probably first cousins.  My second great grandfather probably did not own this land.  He was probably living on it and paying taxes on it.
