Lester (Buck) Lane age 8/12 married Janette Hazel (Nettie) Peters on 21 Dec 1917 in Knox County.  Nettie was the daughter of Robert Asbury (Robin) Peters and Mollie Caroline Cole.  Robert was the brother of my great grandfather Alva Edward (Alvy) Peters.  Mollie was the sister of my great grandmother Sallie Jane Cole.  As such, Nettie was the double first cousin of my grandfather Ernest Lester (Lester) Peters Sr.

Buck was the son of William Thomas (Thomas) Lane age 38 and Nancy Jane Bright age 30.

Alfred Alexander England age 27 married Jane Robinson age 43 in 1871.  I'm assuming that Charles age 8 and Millard age 4 were children of Alfred and Jane, and that Margaret age 22 was Jane's child from a previous marriage.  I don't know what, if any, connection there was between Alfred England and either of my two England families of Anderson County, Tennessee.  Given that Alfred's father was born in North Carolina, it seems more likely that Alfred was connected to the family of my third great grandfather Jacob England than to the family of my third great grandfather John England, if he was connected to my England families at all.

William Benjamin King age 41 and Lillian Hortense (Lillie) Adams age 20 later became the parents of Minnie Ann King who was born 21 Mar 1889 in Blount County, Tennessee. Minnie was the first wife of Charles Lee (Charlie) Bray. Uncle Charlie was the half-brother of my maternal grandmother Lola Ethel Williamson.

William and Lillie were married 18 Feb 1877 in Loudon County. William's first wife Nancy Jane Brewer died in 1876. Therefore, Robert B. King was Lillie's child and all the other children were Nancy's children. Robert's places of birth should have been listed as TN GA GA.

George Cole age 44 was enumerated in 1870 in Knox County in the household of David Key and Nancy Bright.  His wife Nancy Elizabeth Ann (Ann) Key age 49 was the daughter of David Key and Nancy Bright.

It is by no means proven, but I believe that George was the son of James Cole of Hawkins County, and that George was the first cousin of my second great grandfather William Cole.
