Mary Bessie M. Ann (Bessie) Coley age 27 was the daughter of Robert M. Coley and Amanda Etta (Etta) Goodman.  Bessie and Uncle Henry were married on 17 Jan 1916 in Loudon County.  Contrary to what her census age would suggest, she was born in 1896.

Alex Williamson and Maggie England were both born in North Carolina, so the birth places of Henry and Frank's parents were listed incorrectly.

The Dicy Ann Smith who was the mother of Rhoda Amos was apparently not related to the Dica Ann (Dicy) Smith who was my third great grandmother.

The enumerator made a mistake in the House Number.  It should be dwelling number 500 rather than dwelling number 430.  The Family Number is correct.

Bell Laura (Laura) Stalcup age 24 was the daughter of William R. (Will) Stalcup and Anna E. (Annie) Bray, and the granddaughter of my grandparents Joseph A. (Joe) Bray and Ferriba Salina (Salina) Moore.  As such, Annie was the sister of my great grandmother Mary Mahala Jane (Mahala or Haley) Bray, and Laura was the first cousin of my grandmother Lola Ethel Williamson.

Laura married Roy Spoon age 25 on 28 Aug 1926 in Loudon County.  Roy was the son of Frank Spoon and Lydia Lawless.

The boarders were Roy's sister Maggie Spoon age 17, and Maggie's husband James Petty age 17.  Maggie and James were married on 17 Dec 1929 in Loudon County.

Fred (Freddie) Green age 19 was the son of Moses (Mose) Green and Rhoda Amos.  Rhoda married William Webster (Billy or W.W.) Bray on 29 Sep 1895 in Knox County, and she married second Moses (Mose) Green on 6 Oct 1904 in Loudon County.  So Rhoda and Uncle Billy were divorced sometime between 1895 and 1904 but I have not yet found any record of the divorce.

Uncle Billy was the brother of my great grandmother Mary Mahala Jane (Mahala or Haley) BrayHaley's first husband was William George Washington Green who was the brother of Mose Green.  So Rhoda Amos married first Haley's brother and Rhoda married second Haley's brother-in-law.

Freddie married Irene Hudson age 19 on 2 Jul 1927 in Loudon County.

Linda was the daughter of Ida L. Roberts age 33 and Ida's first husband John Smith.  Hugh Smith age 14 and Hazel Smith age 12 were also the children of Ida and John.  Parlee Rather age 9, Frank Rather age 4 9/12, and Vernell Rather age 7/12 were the children of Ida and her second husband William (Will) Rather age 28.  It seems likely that Newt Roberts age 27 was Ida's brother and that Elizabeth age 19 was Ida's sister-in-law.
