My Williamson family moved from Roane County to Loudon County in about 1889. I have not been able to pin down the exact date of the move. The attraction was apparently jobs at the railroad yard in Lenoir City.
My grandmother, Lola Ethel Williamson, was born in Lenior City in 1900. Alexander L. (Alex) Williamson in the tax tables below was her grandfather.
