Joseph Anderson Love age 49 was the son of Thomas Levege Love and Avaline Uretha (Av) Cross, the grandson of Jacob Benton Cross and Louisa Ann Laymance, the great grandson of Elijah Cross and Mary (Polly) Winters, and the great grandson of my fourth great grandfather William Cross. As such Elijah Cross was my third great grand uncle, Jacob Benton Cross was my first cousin four times removed, Av Cross was my second cousin three times removed, and Joseph Anderson Cross was my third cousin two times removed. Joseph married Altha Blanch Satterfield age 42 on 24 Dec 1913 in Wartburg, Morgan County, Tennessee. Altha was the daughter of Joseph Anderson Satterfield and Mary Ellen Collins. |
