These names are taken from the digest of the accounts of AFG and Establishments in the U.S. and of the MFG. The data was found in Reconstruction of the Morgan County, TN 1820 Census by Ethel Freytag, Wartburg, TN, 1994.
Note that there are no Peters listed. James Peters, son of Tobias Peters Sr., must have moved from Anderson County to Morgan County after 1820, or else none of the business transactions of James Peters showed up.
These Englands were probably not my direct line, but rather must have been a collateral line. The evidence seems quite strong that my Englands were in Anderson County in 1814.
The fundamental problem is that all the given names for the Englands are the same between the two families in the two counties. For example, I believe that this Titus England in Morgan County is the one who married Elizabeth Anderson, whereas my fourth great grandfather Titus England in Anderson County was a generation younger and married Elizabeth whose surname is unknown. Both Elizabeths may be found as widows in the 1850 census.

John |
On it's face, this John England could have been the uncle of my fifth great grandfather John England. However, the uncle of my fifth great grandfather John England signed a will in 1795 back in Burke County, North Carolina. So it seems more likely that this John England was a cousin of fifth great grandfather John England. For example, perhaps this John England was the son of James England Sr. |

Robert |
Robert Robert McCart was almost certainly the husband of Hannah Peters. Hannah could have been the sister of Tobias Peters Sr. and/or the sister of Henry Peters Sr. She was younger than both of them, but she was too close in age to have been the daughter of either of them. Robert McCart also was probably the father-in-law of a Mr. McCart who married Agnes McCart, daughter of Tobias Peters Sr. and Elizabeth Rachel Scarborough |

Moses Winters Jr. was the father of Mary (Polly) Winters who married Elijah Cross. Elijah was the son of my fourth great grandfather William Cross the Revolutionary War drummer boy. As such, Elijah was the brother of my third great grandfather Alfred Carter Cross. |
