James Reuben (Couger) Dennis age 30 and Sarah Leona (Ona) Cross age 25 were both descended from Abraham Cross Sr. and Elizabeth Ensor.  Abraham was the brother of my fourth great grandfather William Cross who served as a drummer boy during the Revolutionary War.  James was the Abraham's second great grandson, and Ona was Abraham's third great granddaughter.  So James and Ona were second cousins once removed with respect to each other.

Floyd Jason Dennis was born in 17 Sep 1940, after the census enumeration.

Zilphia Lodelia (Delia) Amonett age 41 was the daughter of James Jefferson Amonett and Mary Elizabeth Hyder, the granddaughter of Reuben Hutchinson Amonett and Synthia Cross, the great granddaughter of Abraham Cross and Mary (Molly) Pierce, the second great granddaughter of Abraham Cross Sr. and Elizabeth Ensor, and the third great granddaughter of my fifth great grandparents William (Brittain) Cross and Alice Cole.  As such, Abraham Cross Sr. was the brother of my fourth great grandfather William Cross the Revolutionary War drummer boy, Abraham Cross Jr. was the first cousin of my third great grandfather Alfred Carter Cross, Synthia Cross was the second cousin of my second great grandmother Hulda Asberine (Asberine) Cross, James Jefferson Cross was the third cousin of my great grandfather Alva Edward (Alvy) Peters, and Zilphia Lodelia (Delia) Amonett was the fourth cousin of my grandfather Ernest Lester (Lester) Peters Sr.

Delia was born 11 Jul 1899 in Pickett County.  She married James Martin (Jim) Copeland age 49 on 5 August 1920 in Picket County.  The enumerator misspelled the surname as Copland rather than as Copeland.
