Nathaniel Taylor Jackson age 21 later married Elizabeth Jane Lizzie Henry.  Lizzie Henry was the daughter of John Fouche Henry and Sarah Mariah (Sallie) Bryan, and the granddaughter of Allen S. Bryan Sr. and Elizabeth McSpadden.  Allen S. Bryan Sr. was the brother of my fifth great grandfather Peter Bryan.

Nathaniel Taylor Jackson age 21 and Lizzie Henry were married about 1852. I'm not sure where they were married, but they lived in Knox County.  It's a puzzle how they met, given how far apart they lived.

4th Subdivision, Washington County, Tennessee, 11 Oct 1850
p.164, dwelling number 840, family number 867
Yarber Thompson S. 32 m w farmer NC
        Nancy 35 f w NC
        Winny 9 f w NC attended school
        Elizabeth M. 5 f w NC
        Eva S. 4 f w NC

This census entry was recorded as a part of the search for the parents of Henry Clay (Clinton) Yarber who married Maria F. Evans.  It's a convoluted connection to my family, but Maria's daughter Caledonia D. (Callie) Evans married James Edward (Jim) Messamore.  It is believed that Maria's surname is actually unknown, and that Evans was the surname of her first husband.  But this is not proven.

In any case, Thompson S. Yarber was the son of Shem Yarbrough, and was probably the uncle of Clinton Yarber.

            Dicy 8 f w NC

Clinton Yarborough age 11 was probably Henry Clay (Clinton) Yarber who married Maria F. Evans.  Maria's daughter Caledonia D. (Callie) Evans married James Edward (Jim) Messamore.  Shem and Nelly Yarborough were probably Clinton's grandparents.
