Mayme Lee Bryan the daughter of George Steward (Steward) Bryan and Mattie Rymer. Steward Bryan was the son of my third great grandparents Peter H. Bryan and Mary Ann (Polly Ann) Cate. As such, Steward was the brother of my second great grandfather William Allen Bryan. Mayme Bryan was the first cousins of my great grandfather William Harley (Harley) Bryan. Mildred Harrison's full name was Mildred Bryan Harrison. The "B" as Mayme's middle initial must have been for her maiden name of Bryan rather than for her true middle name of Lee. |
