Jennie Gayle (Gayle) Holleman age 6 married Ralph Columbus Bray before 1945, probably in Texas.  Ralph was the son of Harold Temple Bray and Fronia Ann (Fronie) Cagley, and the grandson of William Webster (Billy or W.W.) Bray and Rhoda Amos.  Uncle Billy was the son of my second great grandparents Joseph A. (Joe) Bray and Ferriba Salina (Salina) Moore.  As such, Uncle Billy was the brother of my great grandmother Mary Mahala Jane (Mahala or Haley) Bray.

Gayle Holleman was enumerated incorrectly as a male son instead of as a female daughter.  The rest of the family seems to have been enumerated correctly.  Gayle was the daughter of Earl Stanley Holleman Sr. age 38 and Jennie Gayle age 35.  So Gayle was named for her mother and had the same maiden name as her mother's married name.
