Elizabeth (Lizzie) Waits age 25 and Alger Waits age 15 were the children of Joseph R. Waits and Frankie A. Cox, and the grandchildren of my second great grandparents John Tivis Cox and Nancy Ann Pierce. As such, Frankie was the sister of my great grandfather George Jackson Cox, and Lizzie and Alger were the first cousins of my grandmother Ruby Priscilla Cox. Jacob Arvil (Jake) Brimer age 26 and George Arthur (Arthur) Brimer age 28 were the sons of James Robert Brimer and Rebecca Susan (Susan) Hughes. Jake and Lizzie were apparently married about 1902 in Texas. I cannot find a marriage record for them in Tennessee before they moved to Texas, and I do not presently have access to the needed Texas marriage records to confirm exactly when and where they were married in Texas. Several of the birth dates in this census entry are incorrect. Roy and Windola's birth places should be TX TN TN, and Alger's should have been TN TN TN. |
